We are the proud owners = of 11 month old Bud.  Bud is a mix o= f lots of different breeds so I suppose he’s what you would call a Heinz 57.  We know that he has Rottw= eiler, Ridgeback and Akita in him so we knew he would grow to be quite a big dog a= nd this was one the main reason we called Sue.  We wanted to ensure that Bud had t= he best start in life and that we knew how to handle him properly and be the b= est “pack leaders” we could be.&nb= sp;

 =

We invested in the Puppy= Pack and Sue came to see us a few days after we brought Bud home.  Bud was only 7 ½ weeks old = at the time and wasn’t displaying any major problems; he was just a very excitable puppy who was a little dominant.=   Sue came to see us and initially just observed how we interacted with him, then she did what she does best!  She taught us how to be the pack l= eaders and take control of the situation, she taught us how to teach Bud certain commands like sit, stay etc. and instantly Bud was a much calmer puppy!  All he needed was for us to know w= hat we were doing.

 =

Throughout our first ses= sion Sue taught us a number of training techniques and answered our many questions!  Sue left us with t= he training manual which we found very helpful and was always referring back to it.  Sue said that we can call= or email anytime if we had any questions or concerns, something we took her up= on many times!

 =

With the Puppy Pack you receive 3 sessions so we booked the second session for a few weeks later.  We had a socialization session wit= h Sue and her lovely dogs on the Town Fields and this was very helpful.  This was the first time we had eve= r let Bud off the lead and initially we were quite nervous but there were no need.  Sue is such a natural w= ith dogs and gave us lots of advice.  From then on we regularly took Bud to our local playing fields where= he would meet with other dogs and play.  I really don’t think we would have had the confidence to do th= is so soon if wasn’t for the 2nd session we had with Sue.

 =

We had our 3rd session when Bud was around 5 months old.&= nbsp; We wanted to work on his recall so we met Sue at the straight mile w= here the techniques she showed us really helped.  Bud had not displayed any major problems, just his recall, jumping up, and sometimes completely ignoring our commands.  Sue gave us some gr= eat advice and we could see that we had slacked a bit with his training, so Sue advised us to refresh ourselves with the training manual which really did help.  Since the last session = we have been in touch with Sue a few times to ask advice on certain things and= as always Sue has given us great advice.

 =

I highly recommend Sue to anyone who is bringing a dog into their home or is having any problems with their dog, no matter how big or small.&nbs= p; The professional service Sue offers is excellent and will benefit AN= Y dog and its owners.  Bud is a well balanced dog and it really is a pleasure to have him in our lives - I credit this to Sue and how well she taught us.&nb= sp; With Sue’s help we ironed out any problems when he was young so they did not escalate.  This w= as especially important to us as we know Bud had a number of powerful breeds in him and that he would be a big dog.

 =

Bud is now 11 months old= and is a very well balanced, happy dog.  He is also quite a large dog weighing in at over 46 kilos, but we ha= ve no problems controlling Bud as we are effective pack leaders and we owe it = all to Sue!
